Silenzio Statico is a Lable from L.A. with a clear vision of what they want, most of the bands have an old school 80's feel to them and have alot of attitude and style. They specialize in what I would describe as 80's third world Latin american raw punk, but when it comes down to it its just straight up punk. Most of the bands scream in spanish this sampler includes three bands Asko which to me sounds a little like Conflict. Rayos x reminds me of Sin Dios mixed with Fallas del sistema and some 77 style Eskorbuto and Paralisis permanente. Last but not least is Tuberculosis with Womyn vocals reminds me of a D-beat Tragatelo see for yourself!

Fist to the face - Fastcore

These kids were fucking sick! with one of the best drummers in my side of town these kids ripped, they play sort of a Powerviolence influenced fastcore with songs about shrooming and who knows what else I miss them I think they would have contributed alot to the bay area scene but sadly I dont think many people outside of San Jose even saw them. heres a video from a West San Jose show they played with Venganza Masacre and Liberate.

and heres the Unreleased demo.

Dios Hastio - Peruvian fucked up crust!

Dios Hastio is the most famous of second wave peruvian Hardcore or maybe its third wave? I first came across them in 2003 or 4 when I bought the unreleased Kerosene 7 inch and I fell in love! The music the words and the vocal style is like a d-beat grind Rudimentary peni in spanish and I love Rudimentary Peni. Some consider them the best from Peru and I think I agree! They influeced my band La Grita very mush especially towards the last year, this is almost the discography missing of course the Kerosene 7 inch and few splits.

Bruxers - Brutal Crust-metal

Bruxers are from San Jose California I met Chad the drummer a couple years ago maybe longer hes a really cool kid, they play sludgy doom influenced crust with low grind vocals. what Ive liked about them is that even though they're influenced by those styles they are unique they dont fit in so snug into any of those labels. They have a different sound now they sound like Celtic frost playing grindcore covers of Machetazo so hopefully Ill post something new.

Were gonna put out a tape hopefully soon

I dont know anything about this release except that it has 34 songs

Do you know the way to san jose?

As my first post Im uploading an unfinished comp I was going to do with the focus (of course) being my neighborhood in East San Jose at the time we had a renaissance bursting out and so I had decided to document it by putting out a comp the plan was to get the following bands to record.

Threat to the system
The Disregards
CNVC
The Shivers
Masacre
C/F
The Snot Rags

I think I started in 2003 and stopped in 2006 or 2007. Later on some new bands came out and I was going to add:

False unity
Fist to the face
Desgraciados
Tierra Libertad
Emesis

But it never worked out as planned bands broke up fights popped off more urgent things came up and I could never compile it well enough, but I was cleaning up and I found a cd and artwork I had made which had the bands CNVC, C/F and THE SNOT RAGS the music was some raw hardcore punk that was the beginning of alot of cool music that would come out. The Snot rag stuff is really good if they had stayed together they would have really been sick, anyways I added an ooooold Masacre track. If you were in some of the bands I mentioned and you have recordings hit me up and Ill repost this.
