Liberate!

Liberate are a great bunch of guys and they deliver a blistering fastcore influenced by Los crudos of course but with a powerviolence flavor sprinkled in there for good measure, hopefully I can bring them up to San Jose for a show soon.

Silenzio Statico is a Lable from L.A. with a clear vision of what they want, most of the bands have an old school 80's feel to them and have alot of attitude and style. They specialize in what I would describe as 80's third world Latin american raw punk, but when it comes down to it its just straight up punk. Most of the bands scream in spanish this sampler includes three bands Asko which to me sounds a little like Conflict. Rayos x reminds me of Sin Dios mixed with Fallas del sistema and some 77 style Eskorbuto and Paralisis permanente. Last but not least is Tuberculosis with Womyn vocals reminds me of a D-beat Tragatelo see for yourself!

Fist to the face - Fastcore

These kids were fucking sick! with one of the best drummers in my side of town these kids ripped, they play sort of a Powerviolence influenced fastcore with songs about shrooming and who knows what else I miss them I think they would have contributed alot to the bay area scene but sadly I dont think many people outside of San Jose even saw them. heres a video from a West San Jose show they played with Venganza Masacre and Liberate.

and heres the Unreleased demo.

Dios Hastio - Peruvian fucked up crust!

Dios Hastio is the most famous of second wave peruvian Hardcore or maybe its third wave? I first came across them in 2003 or 4 when I bought the unreleased Kerosene 7 inch and I fell in love! The music the words and the vocal style is like a d-beat grind Rudimentary peni in spanish and I love Rudimentary Peni. Some consider them the best from Peru and I think I agree! They influeced my band La Grita very mush especially towards the last year, this is almost the discography missing of course the Kerosene 7 inch and few splits.
